There are no special precautions for the diet of left renal cyst, and a low-salt, low-fat, light-flavored diet can be chosen.
Renal cysts generally refer to simple renal cysts, which is the most common and the least actual significance of a renal cystic disease in the clinic, usually not accompanied by renal hypoplasia. For those who are asymptomatic and have no complications, generally no treatment is needed and can be reviewed once every six months to a year. Symptomatic treatment includes controlling blood pressure, preventing cyst infection, rupture and bleeding.
For larger cysts >4cm in diameter, puncture aspiration and injection of sclerosing agent such as anhydrous ethanol can be considered to prevent recurrence. For patients with huge cysts with volume >500ml, malignant tendency or recurrence after puncture, cystectomy or even nephrectomy should be considered.
For patients with renal cysts, they can choose low-salt and low-fat diet with light taste. If consuming too much salt, fat and protein may increase the metabolic burden of kidney, eat less pickled food, fatty meat, animal offal, spicy and irritating food, etc. However, all the above diets can not treat renal cysts.
If you have kidney cysts, please consult a doctor in time and follow the instructions of your physician.
