Follicles that matured without ovulation and then became pregnant are considered to be related to the lack of continuous monitoring of follicle development, larger follicles, and so on.
1. Failure to continuously monitor the follicles: If a woman does not continuously or at the right time monitor the follicle development, it is possible that the follicle has already undergone ovulation, and the egg and sperm will combine to form a fertilized egg and pregnancy will occur.
2. Larger follicle size: some women have follicles over 26mm before ovulation occurs, so if the patient does not continue to monitor the follicle after it reaches 26mm, and therefore does not know that ovulation is occurring, it is possible to get pregnant if the egg is successfully discharged.
For women with mature follicles who have not ovulated and then found pregnant, if they have reproductive needs, it is recommended that they go to the gynecology department of a regular hospital to improve the progesterone, ultrasound and other related examinations to assess the development of the embryo, and if necessary, they need to comply with the doctor’s orders to supplement progesterone to protect the fetus.
