Rutabaga root and root nodule efficacy and effect

Rehmannia glutinosa has the efficacy of clearing heat and diarrhea, generating fluids to quench thirst, and removing vexation, so it can be used to treat fever and thirst, lung-heat cough, and carbuncle and vomiting of pus. Lotus root has the efficacy of astringency to stop bleeding (using drugs with astringent effect to treat bleeding disorders) and resolving blood stasis, and can treat conditions such as vomiting blood, hemoptysis, epistaxis, and so on.
The medicinal source of reed root is the fresh or dried rhizome of Reed, family Gramineae. Its effects include clearing away heat and diarrhea, generating fluids to quench thirst, removing vexation, stopping vomiting, and inducing diuresis, and it can be used for treating or ameliorating conditions such as vexation and thirst in febrile illnesses, coughing in lung-heat, spitting up pus from carbuncle, and vomiting and retching in gastric-heat. Due to the cold nature of rehmannia, it should be used with caution for people with cold spleen and stomach.
Lotus root nodule is the dried rhizome of Lotus japonicus of the Water Lily family. Its effects include astringency, stopping bleeding and removing blood stasis, and can be used in the treatment or improvement of conditions such as vomiting blood, hemoptysis, epistaxis, urination and leakage of menstrual flow (menstruation in excessive or incessant drips).
