Furaquintinib belongs to the oral anti-angiogenic targeted drugs, used in the third-line treatment of advanced colorectal cancer, with the effect of prolonging the survival of patients. Furaquintinib can inhibit angiogenesis and impede tumor progression, with the advantage of a stronger effect on rectal cancer and low toxicity and good tolerance. Clinical trials have shown that the survival of patients treated with furaquintinib can be extended to about 9 months, which is a significant extension of the life cycle of patients in the placebo group by 2.7 months. This drug is suitable for patients who have received fluorouracil-based, ritecan and oxaliplatin-based chemotherapy, and also for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer if they have received or are not candidates for anti-vascular endothelial growth factor therapy and anti-epidermal growth factor receptor therapy. Please be aware of the drug’s contraindicated population and possible adverse reactions. Furaquintinib is a prescription drug and needs to be used under the supervision of an antitumor physician.
