Asymptomatic mixed meningiomas can be observed and reviewed regularly, while symptomatic mixed meningiomas can be treated through the use of medications, surgical removal, and radiation therapy.
Mixed meningioma is a pathological type of meningioma, which is mostly benign. During pathological examination, transitional type of cells between the epithelial and fibrous types of meninges will be found.
1. Drug treatment: mainly for targeted treatment, such as for headache patients can follow the doctor’s instructions to use ibuprofen extended-release capsules and other analgesics.
2. Surgical resection: surgical treatment is the standard treatment plan for meningioma, under the premise of meeting the indications for surgery, it can be treated by surgical resection, and the vast majority of patients with meningioma can be cured by surgical resection alone.
3. Radiation therapy: If the location of mixed meningioma is relatively special, surgery can not be completely removed, or the patient can not tolerate surgery, radiation therapy can be chosen.
It is suggested that patients with mixed meningioma should seek medical treatment in time and under the guidance of doctors, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
