Sento grass is the whole grass of mosquito motherwort with galls in the Genusaceae family. Taste sweet, slightly pungent; nature flat. Attributed to the liver, stomach, lung meridian. It has the efficacy of resolving blood stasis and stopping bleeding, clearing heat and swelling, and relieving pain.
It is used in the treatment of bruises, sore throat, carbuncle and gangrene (a kind of poisonous sores, acute suppurative disease occurring on the body surface, limbs and internal organs), sores and ulcers (skin diseases caused by internal invasion of poisonous evils, resulting in stagnation of qi and blood), coughing up blood, spitting up blood, epistaxis, blood in stools, pain in hernia and menstrual pains.
The adverse effects of this product is not clear, for pregnant women are prohibited. Patients with discomfort are advised to consult a doctor in time and standardize the treatment.
