What is the dosage of nitroglycerin tablets instructions?

Nitroglycerin tablets are taken sublingually, 0.25~0.5mg (about ½~1 tablet) at a time for adults, if the condition is not relieved you can increase the dosage by 1 tablet every 5 minutes until relieved. Prophylactic use: 5~10 minutes before activity or bowel movement can avoid inducing angina.
Nitroglycerin tablets relieve pain by relaxing the smooth muscle of blood vessels causing vasodilatation. They are mainly used for the treatment and prevention of angina pectoris in coronary artery disease, and may also be used to lower blood pressure or treat congestive heart failure.
Adverse reactions such as headache, dizziness, rash and hypotensive reactions may occur after taking the drug. The drug is contraindicated in patients with myocardial infarction (in the presence of severe hypotension and tachycardia), anemia, glaucoma and increased intracranial pressure.
If pain persists after a total of up to 3 tablets have been taken within 15 minutes, immediate medical attention should be sought. Consult a specialist before taking the drug prophylactically, and seek medical attention immediately after emergency administration.
