Early stage of liver cancer usually has no obvious symptoms, and thus lacks more specific early signs clinically. Generalized arthralgia is mostly seen in autoimmune diseases, but it is not a precursor of liver cancer.
Most patients with early stage of liver cancer have no obvious symptoms, and when clinical symptoms appear, they are often in middle or late stage, with common manifestations including pain in liver area, liver size, jaundice, and so on. In the late stage, symptoms such as cachexia, ascites, emaciation and malnutrition may appear.
Despite the lack of early signs, most patients with liver cancer have long-term liver diseases, such as viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, etc. Patients with underlying liver diseases should undergo regular checkups in order to detect cancer as early as possible.
Generalized joint pain is common in autoimmune diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus, various vasculitides, rheumatoid arthritis and dry syndrome.
In addition, arthritic purpura and generalized osteocalcinosis caused by primary hyperparathyroidism may also present with generalized polyarticular joint pain.
It is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible to find out the cause of the disease and treat it accordingly.
