The absolute lymphocyte value of 3.7 is high, and its causes include physiological and pathological, of which the pathological include infectious diseases, tumor diseases, and so on.
The normal value of absolute lymphocyte value is (1.1-3.2) × 10⁹. If the absolute value of lymphocytes is 3.7×10⁹, it means that it is high.
1. Physiological: Lymphocytes are higher in childhood, and infants are born with higher lymphocytes than normal adult values, which is a normal physiological increase.
2. Pathologic
(1) Acute infectious diseases caused by viruses or bacteria: such as rubella, chicken pox, mumps, infectious lymphocytosis, infectious mononucleosis, whooping cough and so on.
(2) Tumors: e.g. lymphocytic leukemia, lymphosarcoma, etc.
In addition to the above reasons, lymphocytosis can also occur during the recovery period of acute infectious diseases and after organ transplantation.
