There is no so-called best way to remove skin spots, and you can reasonably choose general treatment, medication, physical therapy and other treatments to get rid of the spots according to your condition. Skin spots are commonly found in chloasma, freckles, coffee spots and so on.
1. Melasma: it can be treated with topical depigmenting agents, such as hydroquinone cream, azelaic acid cream, etc.; topical retinoic acid can regulate melanin metabolism and reduce the symptoms of pigmentation; topical fruit acid can accelerate the metabolism of epidermis to reduce pigmentation; oral antioxidant treatment, such as vitamin C, vitamin E, etc.; and physical treatment, such as laser, picosecond laser, etc., can be chosen when necessary.
2. Freckle: It can reduce the symptoms with topical decoloring agent, such as arbutin cream, tretinoin cream, etc.; topical peeling agent can be used to promote local epidermal peeling, such as trichloroacetic acid solution, phenol, etc.; it can also be treated with laser, which can break down the pigment particles and remove the pigmentation spots.
3. Coffee spots: Q-switched laser, intense pulsed light, erbium laser and other physical treatments are mainly adopted to remove coffee spots and improve local skin condition.
