Budesonide needs to be discontinued for about 6 hours before the lung function test.

Usually, after inhalation, budesonide can reach the peak concentration of the drug in about 30 minutes, so as to exert the effect of the drug; finally, it will be completely eliminated from the body after about 6 hours, so as not to affect the results of other tests; therefore, budesonide needs to be discontinued for at least 6 hours before performing the pulmonary function test.
