What should I do if I have vaginal bleeding the next day after using clotrimazole?

Clotrimazole does not usually cause vaginal bleeding. Vaginal bleeding with clotrimazole may be related to ovulation bleeding, abnormal hormone level in the body, cervical disease, etc., which need to be taken according to different causes such as close observation, oral medication, surgical treatment and other treatment measures.
1. Ovulation bleeding: women ovulation due to the body’s estrogen and progesterone secretion level imbalance, may lead to a small amount of endometrial shedding, vaginal bleeding. If a woman is ovulating after using clotrimazole, the above symptoms may occur. If the bleeding is not much, close observation is enough, and the bleeding can usually stop by itself.
2. Abnormal estrogen and progesterone levels: Abnormal levels of volumetric estrogen and progesterone can cause irregular shedding of the uterine lining, resulting in non-menstrual vaginal bleeding. Oral hormonal drugs can be taken for treatment, such as: progesterone, dydrogesterone, ethinyl estradiol cyproterone tablets, deoxyprogesterone ethinyl estradiol tablets and so on.
3. Cervical disease: If you suffer from cervical polyps or cervical lesions, after vaginal use of clotrimazole, if you touch the cervix, it may also cause contact bleeding at the lesion site. Gynecological examination, cervical TCT, HPV, colposcopy and other tests are needed to clarify the cause of the disease and take treatment measures such as cervical polyp removal, cervical conization, total hysterectomy and so on.
The above drugs should be taken under the guidance of clinicians to avoid adverse reactions.
