The first month of pregnancy belongs to the early stage of pregnancy. Possible causes of vaginal bleeding in early pregnancy include implantation bleeding, pre-miscarriage/ ectopic pregnancy and other diseases.
1. Bleeding on implantation: After pregnancy, due to the change of hormone levels in the body, a small portion of the uterine lining will be shed in response to the hormone changes, resulting in a small amount of vaginal bleeding that does not last long. It usually occurs 6~7 days after fertilization.
2. Pre-eclampsia / ectopic pregnancy: If the vaginal bleeding is heavy and prolonged, and accompanied by abdominal pain, bloating and other symptoms, it may be pre-eclampsia or ectopic pregnancy.
3. Other diseases: If the woman herself suffers from endometrial polyps, cervical polyps and other diseases, it may also cause vaginal bleeding in early pregnancy.
If a woman has vaginal bleeding in the first month of pregnancy, it is recommended that she consult a doctor in time to treat the cause of the bleeding.
