The formula contains Angelica sinensis, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparata, Poria, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Rhizoma Cinnamomum Cassiae, and Astragalus Membranaceus, which can warm up Qi and blood. It is used in treating deficiency of qi and blood. Symptoms include reduced diet, body weakness after prolonged illness, weakness of feet and knees, yellowish color, mental lethargy, as well as sores that do not converge, and women’s disintegration and leakage (excessive menstruation or dribbling).
