Lice on the scalp is called head lice, and its treatment includes general treatment, medication and so on.
1. General treatment: patients suffering from head lice need to have their hair shaved clean, while used towels. Hats, covers and bedsheets need to be thoroughly sterilized. Avoid sharing daily necessities with others.
2. Medication: Apply topical tincture of 50% Benadryl or 25% benzyl benzoate on the hair twice a day, and wash the hair with hot water and soap on the third day. If your family members are suffering from the same disease, you need to treat them at the same time to avoid recurrence of the disease.
