Herpes zoster blisters can be treated with topical medications, while antiviral and symptomatic treatment should be provided. 1. Topical medication: When the herpes breaks, 3% boric acid solution or 1:5000 furacilin solution can be used as appropriate to apply wet compresses, and neomycin ointment or mupirocin ointment can be used externally for anti-infection treatment. 2. Antiviral treatment: Early and adequate treatment with antiviral drugs (e.g. acyclovir, famciclovir, etc.) for patients with herpes zoster can effectively alleviate the neuralgia as well as shorten the course of the disease. 3. Symptomatic treatment: diclofenac sodium and other pain-relieving treatments can be chosen for acute pain. Patients with herpes zoster should be treated under the guidance of specialized physicians.
