What’s going on with the squeaky left ear?

Left ear squeaking on movement may be related to cerumen, foreign bodies in the external auditory canal, chronic diffuse otitis externa and other causes.
1. Cerumen: When cerumen is over-secreted and poorly discharged from the external auditory canal, cerumen patches or clumps may be formed, and when it is dislodged from deeper into the ear canal and adheres to the eardrum, it may strike the eardrum and squeak when the left ear is pulled.
2. Foreign bodies in the external auditory canal: foreign bodies such as hairs and bodies of flying insects entering the ear canal are retained in the depth of the ear canal, such as touching the eardrum, and squeaking often occurs when the left ear is moved.
3. Chronic diffuse otitis externa: After acute diffuse otitis externa is prolonged, grayish-brown secretion with odor often accumulates in the deeper part of the external auditory canal and is often detached from epithelial debris. There is itching and discomfort in the ear, thickening of the skin of the external auditory canal and narrowing of the canal. When the left ear is moved, the eardrum may squeak due to the irritation of the eardrum by the secretions in the ear canal.
When left ear squeaking occurs, there are other possibilities, it is recommended to actively seek medical treatment, systematic examination, clear diagnosis.
