Signs that your cough is about to clear up

Signs of impending cough recovery usually include a decrease in the number of coughs, a reduction in the intensity of the cough, and relief of other accompanying symptoms.
1. Decrease in the number of coughs: Usually, during the recovery period, the number of coughs will be significantly less than that during the acute attack.
2. Decrease in cough intensity: Usually, during the recovery period, the patient’s cough will gradually change from a severe cough to a mild cough, until the cough disappears.
3. Relief of other accompanying symptoms: If the patient has fever, coughing up phlegm, runny nose and other accompanying symptoms, there will also be obvious relief.
If the cough is about to be cured, the patient’s symptoms will usually be reduced, and the exact degree varies from person to person. If the patient has other discomforts, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time to avoid delays.
