Citrus aurantium can break down Qi and eliminate stagnation (breaking up stagnation of Qi and eliminating food accumulation), resolving phlegm and removing lumps. Bitter almonds can relieve cough, dispel phlegm and moisten the intestines. Zhe Bei Mu can clear away heat and resolve phlegm, detoxify and disperse knots and eliminate carbuncle.
