How to treat polyps conservatively

Polyps are recommended to be treated with surgery. Conservative treatment is not a cure and can only improve the symptoms temporarily. Daily polyps are mainly observed and are recommended to be handled under the guidance of a doctor. Different parts of the polyps, surgical treatment methods are different. It is also necessary to take into account the actual situation of the patient, such as gastrointestinal polyps, cervical polyps, vocal polyps, nasal polyps and so on. Gastrointestinal polyps are mostly found during endoscopy and should be treated according to the pathologic results. If the pathology is benign, it can be observed conservatively with regular follow-up. If they are malignant, smaller ones can be removed endoscopically and larger ones surgically. Cervical polyps are usually removed endoscopically, with observation of vaginal discharge and menstrual periods. Polyps in other parts of the uterus need to be clarified in terms of their location, size, number, texture, pathologic findings, and impact on life before deciding whether or not to perform surgery.
