At 12 weeks pregnant, the NT was 2.1mm and the test was normal.
The NT test refers to the posterior nuchal translucency scan, which is a way to determine whether the chromosomes of the fetus are normal or not. Currently, the normal range of NT is 2.5mm or less, so a result of 2.1mm is normal.
The NT test is only a screening test, not a definitive diagnosis. A NT value greater than 2.5mm indicates a relatively high probability of fetal abnormality, while a result of 2.1mm indicates a low probability of fetal abnormality, but it cannot be completely ruled out.
Therefore, even if the test result is normal, it is still necessary to review the test regularly, and whether the fetus is healthy or not needs to be judged according to the systematic ultrasound, mid-pregnancy serologic screening and so on.
