What’s wrong with breast milk?

Drinking breast milk diarrhea may be caused by lactose intolerance, food allergy, acute gastroenteritis and other diseases.
1. Lactose intolerance: for newborns whose small intestinal mucosa lacks the enzyme lactase, diarrhea symptoms can appear 1~2 hours after breastfeeding, and can be accompanied by abdominal discomfort, increased flatulence, intestinal hyperacidity and other symptoms, and can be relieved after defecation and a lactose-free diet.
2. Food allergy: If breastfeeding women eat allergenic food, such as seafood, milk, eggs, etc., and such food can be secreted through breast milk, the child eating breast milk may cause allergic enteritis, resulting in diarrhea symptoms.
3. Acute gastroenteritis: incorrect preservation of breastmilk leads to the deterioration of breastmilk, after feeding the deteriorated breastmilk will cause acute gastroenteritis symptoms in children, resulting in diarrhea.
It is advisable to go to the hospital and ask the doctor to determine the cause of the diarrhea.
