What does the left lobe of the liver with point-like enhancement indicate?

Liver left lobe sheet-like, point-like enhancement usually refers to the presence of focal enhancement of the left lobe of the liver under enhanced CT imaging manifestations, can be seen in proliferative nodules, hepatic hemangioma, hepatocellular carcinoma and other conditions.
Enhanced CT of the liver is a CT imaging examination performed under the condition of injecting contrast agent, vascular enhancement will form obvious density difference between normal liver tissues and diseased liver tissues, and different CT enhancement manifestations will appear in different liver diseases, so as to diagnose or identify liver lesions.
The presence of patchy or punctate abnormal enhancement foci in the left lobe of the liver under enhanced CT suggests that hyperplastic nodules, hepatic hemangioma and hepatocellular carcinoma may exist in the liver, and hepatocellular carcinoma also shows fast-in-and-fast-out enhancement, while hepatic hemangioma shows fast-in-and-slow-out enhancement, which should be clarified with the combination of medical history and pathologic puncture biopsy.
If flaky or punctate enhancement occurs in the left lobe of the liver, the cause of the disease should be clarified and standardized treatment should be carried out under the guidance of the doctor to avoid delaying the condition.
