What are the early symptoms of breast cancer?

Early stage of breast cancer may have no symptoms, or there may be painless lump, nipple overflow, abnormal nipple and areola, dimple sign and other symptoms.
1. Painless lump: Early breast cancer may feel a lump on the breast, which is usually hard and uneven in density, mostly not accompanied by pain, but will increase in size.
2. Nipple overflow: some early breast cancer patients’ first symptom is nipple overflow, which may be bloody overflow, plasma blood overflow, watery overflow and so on.
3. Abnormalities of nipple and areola: Early breast cancer may have symptoms such as itching, erosion, ulceration, flaking and pain of nipple skin, and even nipple retraction may occur.
4. Dimple sign: as the ligament connecting breast skin and deep pectoral muscle fascia is invaded by breast cancer, it may lead to dimple-like skin depression of breast skin.
Breast cancer needs to be detected and treated as early as possible. It is recommended that women should do ultrasound examination regularly and seek medical treatment when abnormalities are found to avoid delaying the condition.
