Where is the Dicang point located?

The Di Cang point is located on the face, 0.4 inches away from the corner of the mouth.
The Di Cang point, also known as Hui Wei, belongs to the Foot Yangming Stomach meridian. It is located on the face, opening 0.4 inches beside the corner of the mouth. It has the efficacy of energizing the meridians and collaterals, brightening the eyes and relieving pain, and can be clinically paired with the Cheek Che point for treating crooked eyes and mouth; with the Middle Epigastric point for treating gastric pain; with the Upper Guan point for treating tooth pain; and with the Yu Ji point for treating inability of mouth to speak.
When taking the point, the patient should be sitting upright or lying on the back. This point can be punctured toward the Cheek Che point or moxibustion can be performed. Most patients can be treated with moxibustion.
