What to do about recurring mold infections after menstruation

Recurrent mold infection after menstruation requires the following treatment measures: general treatment, topical medication, oral medication and so on.
1. General treatment: mold infection is related to the change of vaginal environment and the lowering of one’s own resistance, etc. Keeping the vulva clean, not indiscriminate antibiotics, balanced diet, appropriate exercise, and maintaining sufficient sleep can help. Keep the vulva clean, don’t use antibiotics indiscriminately, eat a balanced diet, exercise properly, and keep enough sleep, which can enhance the body’s immune function and maintain the normal vaginal flora environment, so as to avoid recurrent mold infection.
2. Topical drugs: you can use local antifungal drugs for treatment, such as clotrimazole vaginal tablets, mycotoxin tablets, miconazole vaginal suppositories and so on. The course of medication should be sufficient, generally for 7 days. You can consolidate the use of 1~2 courses of treatment after the next menstrual period.
3. Oral medication: For unmarried women or women who are not suitable for topical medication, oral antifungal medication can be used, such as fluconazole.
Pregnant women should mainly use topical medication and prohibit oral administration of medication. Drugs should be used under the guidance of clinicians to avoid adverse reactions.
