Checking whether the fallopian tube is blocked or not can be carried out through tubal fluid test, tubal imaging test, laparoscopic tubal fluid test and so on.
1. Tubal fluid test: the catheter is placed in the uterine cavity and fluid is injected from the catheter, which can be used to judge whether the fallopian tube is open or not by the resistance when injecting the fluid, whether there is any reflux, the amount of fluid injected and the patient’s feeling.
2. Tubal imaging: injecting the contrast agent through the uterine cavity, and then conducting X-ray examination to determine the uterine morphology, tubal shape and whether the tubes are patent through the dispersion of the contrast agent.
3. Laparoscopic tubal fluid test: During laparoscopy, one side of the fallopian tube will be blocked and fluid test will be performed first, and then the other side will be checked in the same way. Laparoscopic fluid test can visualize which side of the fallopian tube is the problem.
To check whether the fallopian tubes are open or not, women can go to a regular hospital and under the advice of a doctor for a suitable examination.
