Is myocarditis hereditary?

Myocarditis has no genetic predisposition and is not hereditary.
Myocarditis is a limited or diffuse acute or chronic inflammatory disease of the myocardium, which occurs more often in winter and spring, most of which are common myocarditis with mild condition, while a few are fulminant myocarditis with critical condition and high mortality rate. The causative factors of myocarditis are mainly infections, autoimmune factors, physical and chemical factors, etc. Among them, viral infections are the most common.
Among them, viral infection is the most common, coxsackie group B virus, poliovirus, adenovirus, etc. can cause myocarditis. Bacteria, fungi, spirochetes, drugs, poisons, radiation, etc. may also cause myocarditis, but relatively few. There is no hereditary factor among its main causes, so myocarditis has no genetic predisposition and will not be passed on to the next generation.
