What are the early signs of myocarditis

Myocarditis can be generally divided into ordinary acute myocarditis, fulminant myocarditis, early symptoms vary, generally including runny nose, fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea and other upper respiratory tract or intestinal infection symptoms and chest tightness, chest pain, palpitations and other cardiac symptoms, fulminant myocarditis in the early stage can quickly appear chest tightness and chest pain, dyspnea, severe arrhythmia and other cardiac damage performance.
1. Ordinary acute myocarditis: it is more common, mostly due to myocardial inflammatory reaction caused by viral infection. Most patients present with flu-like or gastrointestinal symptoms such as runny nose, fever, drowsiness, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, etc. 1~3 weeks before the onset of the disease. Cardiac symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest tightness, chest pain, palpitations, abnormal heart sounds, etc. may occur in the early stage of acute onset, and the prognosis is generally good.
2. fulminant myocarditis: less common, mostly caused by coxsackievirus and other infections that produce damage to the myocardium and immune response, the onset of the disease is rapid and very serious, days before the onset of fever, diarrhea, and other upper respiratory tract or intestinal viral infection history.
The disease progresses rapidly, and there can be progressive cardiac damage at an early stage, with severe heart failure manifestations such as chest tightness and chest pain, dyspnea, fatigue, and even blackout, fainting, shortness of breath and inability to lie down, and serious cardiac arrhythmias such as ventricular tachycardia, which may even result in sudden death, and the prognosis is poor.
If the patient has the above symptoms, it is recommended to go to the cardiology department of the hospital as soon as possible to find out the cause and then actively treat.
