What is Shao Yin Disease?

Shaoyin Disease (a disease caused by the invasion of the Shaoyin meridian by an exogenous pathogen) is a disease characterized by the pathological changes of water-fire incompatibility, heart and kidney deficiency, and is often accompanied by symptoms such as mental depression, lethargy, and fine pulse, and can be characterized by two types: Shaoyin Cold Transformation and Shaoyin Heating Transformation.
The occurrence of Shaoyin disease is related to a variety of reasons, for example, those who have a vegetative yang, when the cold evil enters the body and enters the interior from the yang to heat, then the disease can develop. If the kidney yang is weak, the disease may also be triggered if the evil cold goes directly to the shaoyin (the external evil directly invades the internal organs through the muscle surface). External heat illness delayed treatment, resulting in heat injury to the yin and fluid, yin deficiency and hyperactivity of Yang, can also cause the disease.
Shaoyin disease can be divided into two types: shaoyin cold and shaoyin heat, with different symptoms, among which shaoyin cold often shows no heat and cold (fear of cold), cold extremities (cold extremities, even cold to the elbows and knees), mental depression, urination, body heat, but not cold and other symptoms; shaoyin heat, often dry mouth and tongue, disturbed and insomnia and other symptoms.
Shaoyin cold should be rescued to restore yang, can be used to improve the condition of the Four Reversed Tang plus reduction, Shaoyin heat need to nourish yin and submerge yang (by replenishing the yin to inhibit the rise of too much yang), suitable for Huanglian and Agaricus soup plus reduction, Chinese medicine to treat the disease pay attention to the identification of evidence-based treatment, the patient should not be indiscriminate use of medicines, if you need to treat the disease of the lesser yin, you must be guided by a professional doctor of traditional Chinese medicine.
