What are the symptoms of stage 3 cervical cancer

The common late stage symptoms of cervical cancer mainly have these manifestations. First, irregular vaginal bleeding. It is one of the common late stage symptoms of cervical cancer, and the bleeding may be more or less. As the condition worsens in the late stage, repeated heavy vaginal bleeding may lead to anemia and hemorrhagic shock. Secondly, increased intravaginal secretion, which is also the main symptom of patients with advanced stage of cervical cancer. With the growth of cancer cells, secondary infection and necrosis leading to increased vaginal secretion, the secretion is like rice-water or mixed with blood and has a bad odor. Thirdly, persistent pain, which appears in the lower abdomen, lower back or legs, is a symptom of advanced stage of cervical cancer. The tumor extends along the tissues and invades the pelvic wall to compress the peripheral nerves, which causes persistent pain. The tumor compresses or erodes the ureter leading to narrowing of the lumen and causing hydronephrosis. Patients may present with low back pain on one side, even severe pain. Further development of renal failure leads to uremia. Lymphatic system erosion leads to lymphatic vessel obstruction, obstruction of reflux and lower limb swelling and pain. Fourthly, systemic symptoms, advanced cervical cancer triggers fever symptoms due to metabolism of tumor tissues, absorption of necrotic tissues or combined infection. The body temperature is usually above 38℃, and anemia, emaciation and even malignant fluid appear due to bleeding and tumor consumption. Fifthly, metastatic symptoms, tumor cells spreading forward can invade the bladder, leading to frequent urination, urgency, painful urination, sensation of dropping in the abdomen and hematuria, etc. Different symptoms can appear in different parts of the body.
