Baby Diarrhea Symptoms

Symptoms of diarrhea in infants include changes in the number of bowel movements, changes in stool characteristics, changes in general condition, etc. Specifically, depending on the severity of the performance, it can be categorized into mild symptoms, moderate symptoms and severe symptoms. 1. Mild Symptoms: Stools are passed five to eight times a day, which may be accompanied by a slight fever or vomiting. The stools are yellowish-green, mucusy and eggdrop soup-like, and are accompanied by mild bloating. 2. Moderate symptoms: Ten bowel movements per day, loose watery stools with a sour and foul odor, possibly accompanied by a moderate fever. 3. Severe symptoms: frequent bowel movements, more than eight to fifteen times a day, watery stools, sour odor, and even mental anomalies. If the diarrhea is mild, you can take some probiotics (e.g. Bacillus subtilis dictyostelium granules) orally under the doctor’s guidance. If the infant’s diarrhea seriously affects the sleep as well as appetite, parents should bring the child to the hospital in time to clarify the cause of the disease and then carry out appropriate treatment.
