1.Try to rest as much as possible on the day of surgery, avoid lowering your head, coughing and strenuous activities.
2.No need to avoid mouth after surgery, all daily life is normal, but please do not smoke and drink. Those who have dry stools can take laxatives; avoid excessive force and lifting heavy objects.
3.Come to the hospital for review the next day after surgery (or one week after discharge), cooperate with the doctor’s examination, and determine the next review date.
4.After the medication change (discharge), go home and order anti-inflammatory eye drops, the principle of medication according to the doctor’s prescription.
5.Keep a good mental state and avoid nervous and excited emotions.
6.Post-operative blurred eyes, mild foreign body sensation and orbital bruising are normal. If obvious eye pain, nausea or vomiting occurs, please do not be nervous and go to the hospital immediately for emergency treatment.
7.A few patients have symptoms of eye redness, photophobia and tearing 5-7 days after surgery, please go to the hospital for examination and timely treatment.
8.Avoid dirty water or soapy water into the operated eye for two weeks after surgery, avoid putting pressure on the operated eye (rubbing the eye) for 4 weeks and prevent trauma.
9.The vision is unstable within 3 months after surgery, generally do refractive power check after 3 months, and if necessary, match a pair of low-degree glasses to adjust the vision of seeing far or near to achieve the best effect.
10.Some patients produce post-operative cataract (PCO) after surgery and need to do YAG laser surgery for treatment.
11.If an IOL is not implanted after cataract surgery for infants and children, timely prescription of glasses and amblyopia training are required, as well as regular review.
