Early stage lung cancer does not need chemotherapy after resection.
Lung cancer is classified into early, middle and late stages according to the size of tumor, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis. If there is no lymph node metastasis and the tumor lesion is relatively small, it belongs to early stage and does not need chemotherapy. If the lymph nodes have metastasis, it belongs to middle stage or late stage, and chemotherapy is needed.
Symptoms of early lung cancer patients are not obvious, and they may have irritating cough with no sputum or white foamy sputum, or pus sputum in case of infection.
Early stage lung cancer mostly appears in patients who usually smoke more, and they should go to hospital for examination in time when the above symptoms appear. For lung cancer patients, first of all, they should not eat and drink spicy and stimulating food, such as chili, pepper, mustard and other food, which are easy to stimulate patients to cough.
After resection of lung cancer, regular recheck is needed, the first recheck is usually one month after treatment, and every three months thereafter.
