The normal method of stewing Cao Wu is to decoct it for 1 hour before other herbs. Cao Wu is effective in dispelling wind and dampness (removing wind and dampness from the body), warming menstruation and relieving pain. Cao Wu is pungent, bitter, hot and highly toxic. It belongs to the heart, liver, kidney and spleen meridians. It is used in treating wind-cold-dampness paralysis (the three evils of wind, cold and dampness invade the body and cause paralysis of the limbs), joint pain, cold pain in the heart and abdomen (the location of the heart and abdomen feels cold and painful), cold hernia and anesthesia to relieve pain and other diseases. 1. Rheumatic paralysis: Cao Wu is often used together with Chuan Wu, Dilong and Boswellia serrata. The system of Cao Wu and the system of Chuan Wu are pungent and poisonous products, with strong efficacy of removing wind and dampness, warming the menstruation and relieving pain, often used in combination. The combination of the two drugs can obviously enhance the power of dispelling wind and dispersing cold (dispelling wind evil and dispersing cold evil), expelling dampness and relieving pain, and the medicinal properties are more severe and fierce, which is often used in severe cold paralysis, persistent and cold pain in bones and joints. 2. Anesthesia and pain relief: mostly raw Caowu and raw Chuanwu and used with tramp, turmeric and so on.
