Tendon repair is often required for patients with various hand tendon injuries. For a variety of emergency patients, tendon repair is usually performed in one stage. In patients with old injuries, tendon grafting is required if there is a tendon defect along with the tendon repair. After tendon repair in patients with various tendon injuries, external fixation with a cast or various braces is usually required to prevent re-rupture. After tendon injury repair, functional exercises are required under professional guidance to minimize adhesions. For patients with severe postoperative adhesions, tendon release can be performed in the second stage.
