Early pre-hospital management of hand trauma

Hand wounds can be hemostatized well by applying a clean dressing (or dry clean towel or clothing) with pressure and elevating the injured limb. Incompletely severed limbs should be bandaged to stop bleeding, with a splint for simple fixation. Completely severed fingers (limbs), the severed surface should be wrapped in a clean dressing, and try to make it dry and refrigerated storage, do not soak any liquid. If the finger (limb) is involved in the machine, the power should be turned off and shut down, disassemble the machine to take out the severed finger (limb), do not turn the machine upside down to take out the method, in order to prevent the limb from being re-injured.
