What does a grade 2 meniscus signal mean?

The grade 2 signal of the meniscus is a description of the meniscal injury on the MRI. It is also often associated with minor meniscal damage or meniscal degeneration resulting in meniscal damage. A grade 3 meniscal signal is a meniscal tear, which can be seen on the MRI as an abnormal signal within the meniscus reaching the articular surface, causing a meniscal tear. A grade 2 meniscal signal is a moderate meniscal injury and requires care to avoid a lot of knee motion and avoid knee injuries so that the meniscal injury does not worsen further.
