Myeloma generally refers to multiple myeloma. The time to take lenalidomide depends on the myeloma, usually ranging from 4 weeks to 2 years. Multiple myeloma is divided into two categories: those suitable for transplantation and those without transplantation. 1. For patients suitable for autologous transplantation, 4~6 courses of induction therapy, especially lenalidomide, need to be less than or equal to 4 courses, so as not to affect the collection of stem cell mobilization in the future, as well as to cause delays in hematopoietic reconstruction. 2. For those who are not suitable for transplantation, maintenance therapy with lenalidomide can be used. Lenalidomide, once effective, needs to be purchased and taken for a long period of time until the patient’s condition shows new progress. The duration of treatment depends on how long it takes for the patient to develop drug resistance, which should be at least 2 years. If the diagnosis of multiple myeloma is confirmed, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time, under the guidance of the doctor for standardized treatment, in order to reduce the adverse effects of the disease.
