It is difficult to generalize the survival time of lung cancer recurrence, which depends on the severity of the disease, treatment effect, patient’s physical condition and psychological state, generally ranging from half a year to one year. However, the survival time of some recurrent patients may exceed five years through surgery and other comprehensive treatments. If the patient’s basic physical condition is good, can accept surgery to remove the recurrent lesions, chemotherapy, targeted drugs or immunotherapy and other standardized treatment, may continue to survive for six months to one year, or even more than five years. There are also some patients who are in particularly poor physical condition, unable to tolerate the side effects of the treatment, unable to cooperate with the treatment, and the survival period will be shortened. They may die in 1~2 months. Therefore, it is recommended to go to regular hospitals after the recurrence of lung cancer and cooperate with doctors for active treatment, in order to prolong the survival period and improve the quality of life.
