Hovenia Japonica Kuanzhong Capsule has the efficacy of strengthening the spleen and harmonizing the stomach (restoring the function of spleen and stomach), regulating qi and eliminating plumpness, and is used for treating the symptoms caused by spleen deficiency and qi stagnation. Hovenia Japonica Kuanzhong Capsule is composed of Chai Hu, Hawthorn, Atractylodes Macrocephalae and Citrus Aurantium, which is effective in strengthening the spleen, harmonizing the stomach, regulating qi and eliminating plumping, and is used for treating gastric plumping (deficiency of the spleen and stagnation of qi) with symptoms such as vomiting, regurgitation, dullness (lack of appetite, decreased food intake), acid reflux, etc. Functional dyspepsia is found in the patients with the above mentioned symptoms. Some patients may experience adverse reactions such as stomach pain or increased frequency of bowel movements after taking the drug. The contraindications of this product are not clear.
