After TB is cured, the shadows in the lungs are mainly fibrous nodule-like lesions, commonly known as scar tissue. Such fibrous nodular lesions do not require special treatment and do not need much worry. As long as the regular anti-tuberculosis treatment and the course of treatment are sufficient, the medication can be stopped under the guidance of physicians, and the shadows in the lungs should not be too worrying. At present, the treatment of tuberculosis is mainly internal anti-tuberculosis treatment, which is a long course of treatment, requiring at least half a year. Some patients will stop the medication on their own after the symptoms improve, which is very risky and may lead to the recurrence of tuberculosis and even the risk of drug resistance.
