How to check for cervical lymph nodes

Neck lymph nodes can be examined by palpation, neck ultrasound and neck CT.
1. Palpation: Try to ask a professional doctor to palpate, the doctor is located on the back side of the examiner, gently touch the subcutaneous tissues of the neck with his/her hands, if you find a rounded, hard and well-mobile mass, consider it as a lymph node.
2. Color ultrasound examination: it is the most common method to examine lymph nodes in the neck. Color ultrasound examination can initially determine the nature of lymph nodes according to their structure, density, aspect ratio and so on.
3. CT examination of the neck: CT examination can diagnose the relationship between lymph nodes and surrounding tissues, or find enlarged lymph nodes in CT examination of the neck.
Considering that there are enlarged lymph nodes in the neck, go to the hospital as soon as possible to confirm the diagnosis before treatment.
