What’s wrong with a four-month-old snoring?

Snoring in four-month-old babies can be caused by physiological reasons or by pathological reasons such as gastroesophageal reflux disease and respiratory diseases.
1. Physiological reasons: if the baby sleeps in the night position is not correct, pressure to the airway, will lead to the airway is not smooth and snoring; if not timely help the baby to clean up the nasal secretions, may also make the secretions block the airway, resulting in snoring.
2.Pathological causes
(1) Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD): If your baby is accompanied by nausea, vomiting, bloating and other digestive symptoms, he or she may be suffering from GERD, and the reflux of gastric contents into the throat will lead to the obstruction of air passing through the respiratory tract, resulting in the symptom of snoring.
(2) Respiratory diseases: colds, sinusitis and other diseases can lead to respiratory obstruction and cause nasal congestion, which in turn leads to snoring.
If your baby snores for an unknown reason, it is recommended that you go to the hospital in time to find out the cause of the snoring and get targeted treatment.
