Acute jaundice hepatitis transaminases are often high, suggesting a heavy degree of liver inflammation and necrosis. If the jaundice is caused by biliary tract infection or abdominal infection, anti-infection treatment should be taken; if the jaundice is caused by an acute attack of chronic hepatitis B with a large amount of viral replication, antiviral treatment should be given at the same time. If the degree of jaundice is severe and the jaundice index is still difficult to control and continues to rise after the above-mentioned conventional medical treatment, and if there is a trend towards severe hepatitis, plasma exchange therapy can be considered if necessary.
