Mixed breast masses are imaging findings, usually associated with acute mastitis, breast tuberculosis and breast cancer. 1. Acute mastitis: usually occurs in breastfeeding women, through the ultrasound examination will find anechoic mass, but there is a cystic solid mass, or a mixed mass, the patient often has breast swelling and pain, may be accompanied by fever and other conditions. It is mainly a lump formed by inflammation stimulating the breast tissue. 2. Breast tuberculosis: mainly due to the infection of tuberculosis bacillus forming breast nodules, lumps, through the examination will be found in a mixed mass, such patients usually have low fever, night sweats (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, waking up sweating stops) and so on, but also have a history of tuberculosis-related diseases. 3. Breast cancer: It is a malignant tumor of the breast tissue. When the mass gradually increases in size, it will be found as a solid mass and a mixed mass with poor mobility. This kind of mass is usually painless and has adhesion with the surrounding tissues. Mixed breast lumps may also be plasma cell mastitis, granulomatous mastitis and other diseases.
