After excluding the contraindications to the corresponding drugs of benzbromarone and colchicine, these two drugs can be used at the same time. Benzbromarone is one of the common uric acid-lowering drugs, through the inhibition of renal tubular reabsorption of uric acid to promote uric acid excretion and thus play a role in controlling the level of blood uric acid concentration, colchicine is the first choice for relieving the symptoms of acute attacks of gout, the classic drugs, so far, we have not found that there are drug interactions or contraindications to the simultaneous use of benzbromarone and colchicine. Benzbromarone should not be used during acute gout attacks to avoid aggravation of the disease. Colchicine can be used to prevent acute gout attacks during the early stage of treatment with benzbromarone, but it should be noted that colchicine should be given in small doses, and liver and renal function as well as routine blood tests should be conducted regularly during the treatment period of these two drugs. Benzbromarone and colchicine should be used under the guidance of a physician, and it is recommended that patients go to the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology of a regular hospital for detailed consultation and treatment as prescribed.
