When examining the lymph nodes, the lymph nodes can generally be examined by palpation. The doctor can put the patient in a comfortable position during palpation and then touch the local lymph nodes with deep pressure, and if the lymph nodes can be touched, it means that the local lymph nodes are enlarged. If the lymph nodes can be touched, it means that the local lymph nodes are enlarged. Since the subcutaneous lymph nodes cannot be touched in general, further examinations, such as ultrasound examination of local lymph nodes, are needed to clarify the cause of the enlarged lymph nodes, as well as the specific size, nature and hardness of the enlarged lymph nodes. If necessary, a small amount of lymph nodes can be punctured for pathological examination to clarify the nature of the swollen lymph nodes, which may be caused by lymph node inflammation if benign or lymphoma if malignant.
