The treatment of intermediate cirrhosis can be divided into the protection or improvement of liver function, portal hypertension, esophagogastric fundal varices, treatment of hepatic encephalopathy and surgical treatment. 1. Protecting and improving liver function: removing or alleviating the causes of disease, protecting enteral nutrition, protecting liver cells and applying liver-protecting drugs such as compound glycyrrhizin tablets and reduced glutathione. 2. Treatment of portal hypertension: restriction of water and sodium intake, diuresis, protein infusion, discharge of abdominal fluid, transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt. 3. Treatment of esophagogastric fundus varices: generally, hemostasis should be performed immediately and blood volume should be actively supplemented, endoscopic treatment can be used, hemostatic drugs such as growth inhibitors, octreotide, pituitary pressin, etc., and hemostasis by balloon pressure can be performed. 4. Treatment of hepatic encephalopathy: early removal of causative factors, nutritional support, use of neurotransmitters, and promotion of ammonia metabolism. 5. Surgical treatment: e.g. shunt, cut-off and flow restriction. When intermediate cirrhosis occurs, it is necessary to actively consult the doctor and follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the treatment.
