Prolactinopituitary tumors are benign tumors of the pituitary gland that secrete a single hormone. The common clinical manifestations of prolactinopituitary tumors are amenorrhea, overflow of breast milk and infertility triad, while some patients may have reduced menstrual flow and prolonged periods. In males, the common clinical manifestations are hypogonadism, impotence, testicular shrinkage, hair thinning, obesity, breast development, etc. Some patients may experience visual disturbances and facial flushing. In the early stage of prolactinopituitary tumors, radical surgery is the main treatment, and in some cases, postoperative radiation therapy is added for anti-tumor treatment.
